Max K. Boyer

Max has received the highest ratings for outstanding quality and service from his clients and his peers.  He is listed among the Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Tax Law and Trusts and Estates and has been recognized as “Lawyer of the Year” four times in recent years – twice for Trusts and Estates and twice for Tax Law.  Max is also an AV® Preeminent 5.0 out of 5 peer review rated attorney in Martindale Hubbell and designated with the High Ethical Standing seal.  Before founding Boyer Law in 1998, he was a partner in the Phoenix office of the international law firm, Bryan Cave, LLP and a Senior Member of Phoenix-based O’Connor Cavanagh.  He has also served as a trial attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Jacksonville, Florida.  Max received his LL.M., a Master’s degree in Tax Law, from the University of Florida, after graduating cum laude with his J.D. degree from Seattle University.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Utah, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Personal:
Max’s time away from the office is spent enjoying family activities with his wife, children, their spouses and grandchildren.  He enjoys snow skiing, mountain biking, ATV riding and water sports.
